What better way to sign off for the holiday weekend than with a fantastic bit of Captain America cosplay? Karen’s costume is top notch, and the giant photoshoot is red, white and blue amazingness, through and through. Check it out below, and we’ll see you Tuesday.
I swear some of the most beautiful girls we feature here are dressed up as Supergirl. Germany’s Black Butterfly is no exception. If only there were more pictures in this shoot.
It’s unfortunate that some view Power Girl as just “some generic superhero” when really, she’s Superman’s cousin in Earth-Two! How could you not know that? Anyway, love seeing Ashley’s costume here. Great work.
Time for another look at a cosplayer so good, she deserves her own post. This usually happens when I find someone with so many awesome costumes I can’t decide to feature just one of them. RikkuGrape has a TON of outfits, most from video games spanning Zelda to League of Legends to Tekken to Final Fantasy. A few others slipped in there too like Alice in Wonderland and Adventure Time. Check out all her work below.
Who says that Ada Wong has to be Asian? Princess Rinoa here is doing a fine job with her own take on the famous Resident Evil heroine. I never understood why anyone would want to fight zombies in an evening gown (or a tube top, in Jill Valentine’s case), but she makes it work.
From costume designer MoonSpider comes the best Spider-Man outfit I’ve ever seen, along with a photo process of how he made it. I’ll let him explain:
“Here’s an album that goes into some of the details of the Ultimate Spider-Man suit’s construction. To answer some of the most common questions up front: the suit has cost me a bit over $600 in total, and I got all of the information and resources needed to make it at The Replica Prop Forum. Also, I cannot make or sell suits for people, because I don’t have the specialized abilities or equipment required for various steps –I did a lot of research and hired people who were more talented than me to do all the tough stuff. I didn’t know anything about building a super hero suit when I joined theRPF, but I read and did my homework and took advantage of all the great access to tons of information, tutorials, and an extremely knowledgeable community there, and now I have something amazing! Anyone else could do the same to get the same results. I just can’t do it for them. Thanks for looking!”
Truly amazing work here, and the best amateur Spidey costume out there in my opinion.
