From costume designer MoonSpider comes the best Spider-Man outfit I’ve ever seen, along with a photo process of how he made it. I’ll let him explain:
“Here’s an album that goes into some of the details of the Ultimate Spider-Man suit’s construction. To answer some of the most common questions up front: the suit has cost me a bit over $600 in total, and I got all of the information and resources needed to make it at The Replica Prop Forum. Also, I cannot make or sell suits for people, because I don’t have the specialized abilities or equipment required for various steps –I did a lot of research and hired people who were more talented than me to do all the tough stuff. I didn’t know anything about building a super hero suit when I joined theRPF, but I read and did my homework and took advantage of all the great access to tons of information, tutorials, and an extremely knowledgeable community there, and now I have something amazing! Anyone else could do the same to get the same results. I just can’t do it for them. Thanks for looking!”
Truly amazing work here, and the best amateur Spidey costume out there in my opinion.
Much like Wreck-It Ralph this year, How to Train Your Dragon was also robbed of an Oscar in its year. But it’s okay, love for the film lives on in the form of cosplay!
The Empire has never looked so appealing. They may have lost the battle of Hoth, but Nathalie here has won our hearts with this simply fantastic Snowtrooper cosutme.
We just featured Bunny Ayumi’s excellent Tifa costume yesterday, and today she’s back with a character from a different genre. That would be Street Fighter’s Sakura, who for some reason, we don’t see cosplayed as much as her counterparts Cammy and Chun-Li
I have yet to actually play Bayonetta, but something tells me just from the cosplay alone that it’s going to be an absolutely ridiculous experience. How can she fight in those heels? Wait, they’re guns! This is just crazy.
